Chapter 1

She moved to a new farm with her mother and siblings after her father died. The farmer where they lived, needed a new farm hand and Flora’s mother was a kitchen hand. He needed their house for the new farmhand and his family. Rosa, Flora’s mother, will start a new kitchen job at their new farm. Luckily for them, the previous kitchen hand had to retire. They can have a home again.
Flora is a beautiful young girl. Her curly light brown hair complements her brown skin in the sun. She is thin, but tall. She is always playful, something that she soon has to part with. Soon, she will be working in the kitchen with her mother. She is just two months away from her sixteenth birthday. She is very excited about this and can’t wait to start working. She loves her siblings, but working on the farm and doing things that her mother does it’s very exciting for her.
